This simple habit can help give your eyes a break during extended screen use.

Staying hydrated is equally important. Dry eyes become more common with age, and drinking enough water throughout the day can help support overall eye comfort.

If you smoke, quitting can provide benefits for your eyes as well as your general health. Smoking is linked to an increased risk of several age-related eye conditions and can negatively affect vision over time.

Finally, don’t ignore changes in your eyesight. Blurred vision, increased glare, flashes of light, or sudden vision changes should always be discussed with an eye care professional.

Looking after your eyes doesn’t have to be complicated. Small, consistent habits can help support healthy vision and keep you enjoying the activities you love for years to come.
